Twelve teachers, led by Laura Oakes and Nancy Gridley, searched for and evaluated hundreds of websites, and then grouped the best that they found by category, leaving you with a nice, comprehensive resource list.

Enchanted Learning: http://www.enchantedlearning.com/Home.html : Enchanted Learning was one of the first teacher resources to go big on the web, and they’ve stayed true to their mission ever since. They are always a first-line resource for myriad teaching aids, information, and curriculum tools. It is also an excellent resource to share with parents and students.

Top of the Class: http://topoftheclass.top-site-list.com/ : Top of the Class is another compilation site where teachers have come together to share their resources, and also their classroom websites. It delivers both text and videos resources and how-to’s, and also gives you a good look into what other classrooms and teachers are doing in real-time.

Classroom Café: http://www.classroomcafe.org/ : The Classroom Café is a comprehensive resource for teachers, their students, and parents. It’s another site where you will find lots of tools and useful resources for you, but also many to share with your classroom and their homes to extend your students’ learning in meaningful ways.

Elementary-Teacher-Resources.com: http://www.elementary-teacher-resources.com/ : This site was designed and is maintained by a veteran of the field. On it, she shares her first-hand experiences and covers all aspects of teaching, from curriculum to professional reading and more. She knows what you need because she’s been where you are, and she delivers the goods right to you.
