April 20th, 2010

I am looking for the best and the ideal place to shop for the Bluetooth headsets. The headsets that I can use for listening music from my cellphone, ipod as well as the LCD television that my mother bought where it has the feature of bluetooth device. With the use of the headset I can easily enjoy the music as it was wireless.
I found the shopping sites where I do buy got the gadgets, this is the site where I had the fashionable mobile phones that I uses personally same as with my sister for she enjoy the designs that they had on their site. Then I also got the mobile phone cases and holsters which give good looks to my phone while it serve it’s purpose on protecting the phone. Then I got the Mobile phone accessories as well as the bluetooth devices. Now anytime that I needed something for my gadgets I will just have a visit on their site and enjoy the shopping without that much effort to exert for it will be shopping online.

Time creates money

December 7th, 2009

Employed, self-employed—it doesn’t matter. When it comes to money, time is probably the most important factor in the growth process. The more time you give to your money and the more time it has to grow are the two key ingredients to attracting and creating large sums. The amount you will have accumulated when retirement comes will determine what kind of lifestyle you will then be able to afford.
If you’re forty-five, and start putting $100 a month into an account that averages a 10 percent return, you’ll have $71,880 by age sixty-five.
I If you start ten years earlier, at thirty-five, your $100 a month will have grown to $206,440 by age sixty-five.
l If you can start saving $100 a month at age twenty-five, YOU will have $555,454 by age sixty-five.
Time accounts for the difference. For every year that you wait to take the step of establishing respect for your life, it costs OU about $25,000 a year of future growth. That is a lot of money. By waiting twenty years, from age twenty-five to age torty-five, to start saving just $100 a month, you pass up almost
$480,000.

Multiplying your money

November 7th, 2009

Time plays an essential role in building your future wealth, not only because the longer you contribute, the more you’ll have, hut also because with time, the contributions you have already made will do more work for you. This second feature that makes time so powerful is called compounding.
When you leave your money invested over time, the amounts of money that your contributions are generating on their own are the worker bees of your money hive.
For instance, let’s say you are investing $6,000 a year, and that $6,000 is earning 8 percent. Let’s assume that your investment will be able to average that 8 percent over the next twenty years, and that you continue to add $6,000 at the beginning of every year as well. There will come a point in time when the earnings on your account will add up, by themselves, to more than the $6,000 you are putting in every year. This is when those worker bees really start to make that money honey.

Cost of care

October 7th, 2009

Because the cost of care for developmentally disabled people is very high, the assets in trusts set up to provide for their care don’t count against the beneficiary in qualifying for government assistance. The way they work is that the trustee is directed to pay for the beneficiary’s special needs, which is to say, the requisites for maintaining the beneficiary’s good health, safety, and welfare when, under the discretion of the trustee, such requisites are not being provided by any public agency, office, or department of the state or of the United States. “Special needs” include, but need not be limited to, dental care, spe1 cial equipment, programs of training, education and habitation, travel needs, and recreation.
If you are trying to protect someone who is not developmentally disabled but receives SSI, the same type of planning is advised but may not be protected to the same extent and may require more careful work on the part of the trustee. But when you love a special person, you already know there are more ,considerations needed at all times, and you probably don’t mind the technicalities, if you know they offer the greatest hope of protection for your special one.

Types of exemptions

September 7th, 2009

There are two types of exemptions from federal estate tax. One is the unlimited marital deduction, and the other is each individual’s $600,000 credit shelter amount. Husbands and wives can leave an unlimited amount of wealth to each other without owing any estate tax whatsoever as long as the surviving spouse is a U.S. citizen. (If you’re married to a non—U.S. citizen, you need to consult an estate lawyer now! Page 109.) Each individual can also pass on $600,000 to his or her beneficiaries, free of estate tax. This is called your credit shelter amount. The portion of your estate beyond that $600,000 is subject to estate tax.
When Pop, Sherry’s father-in-law, dies, assuming he dies first, and all the assets are passed to Mom, she would owe nothing in estate taxes. She receives the million-dollar estate and owes nothing. But when Mom dies, she has the whole million dollars on her side of the balance sheet but can only leave $600,000 to her kids without them having to pay tax. No one ever got the benefit of Pop’s $600,000 credit shelter amount because he just passed everything to Mom.
So when Mom dies, the kids will have to pay estate taxes of
$150,000.
If, howevei before either Mom or Pop dies, $1 million is separated into two shares, each for $500,000, and Pop’s share is held in trust for the benefit of Mom when he dies, and the family follows certain rules, then the IRS will see the money as if it never left Pop’s side of the balance sheet. The $500,000 that’s Pop’s “half” can be passed down free and clear of taxes when Mom dies, because it’s less than $600,000. As for Mom, the $500,000 on her side of the balance sheet can be passed down in the same way when she dies. Remember, you each get this $600,000 credit shelter amount. But most of us who are married don’t take full advantage of it. We just simply leave everything to a spouse who was able to get everything anyway, so in effect the first spouse to die wastes that $600,000 exemption. To take full advantage of it, use a bypass trust. The deceased’s half of the money goes into the trust, preserving this exemption.

Care insurance

August 7th, 2009

There is nothing we can do when unexpected illness hits, but we can take the steps today to make sure that our loved ones’“tomorrows” are financially protected. This is not a topic that anyone, including me, likes talking about, but as we get oldei and our parents or children get older, we’re going to have to deal with it whether we want to or not. In the baby boom generation most of us have more parents than we have children—and those parents are getting older. It is important to really think about what would happen if something did happen to you or someone you love. Do your parents or other family members assume without your talking about it that you would take care of them? If so, would you still be able to take care of yourself and your family? What are the Costs of a home in your area or in your parents’ area? If you’re single, married, living with someone, a parent: Who would take care of you? And would taking care of you make it hard for them to take care of themselves?
Long—term-care insurance is becoming a subject of much interest today, and you’ll be reading more about it as more and more people are beginning to see why it’s such an important quality-of-life issue—for the person who needs the care, but also for the loved ones left to try to pay for it. Beginning in 1997, corporations will be able to pay for LTC insurance coverage for their employees and take the cost of the premiums as a business expense for the company. This employer-paid LTC will not be taxable to the employee. Individuals can now consider it as a medical expense. For the self-employed, LTC insurance is now a business expense. There has also been talk lately that LTC premiums will one day become completely tax-deductible or that we’ll be able to buy it with the money already put away in our retirement accounts. Keep an eye out for more news about this topic—if this is the first time you’ve heard about it, it won’t be the last.
